Happy Fall Y’all!

For this card, we are pairing metallic wired ribbon with fabric leaves, felt, and jute.

  • Getting Ready:  Cut the end of the “Happy Fall Y’all” sentiment into a banner.
  • Inking:  Ink the edges of your card base with brown ink and your sentiment banner with golden yellow ink.
  • Using a border punch, take the brown piece of cardstock (longer lengthwise) and punch the bottom.
  • Assemble your felt rose by rolling it starting from the outer edge towards the center.  When you have it completely rolled, there will be a little round tab on the end of the felt.  This is your bottom.  Apply a wet, tacky glue (such as Aleene’s Tacky Glue) and glue your flower together.
  • Take some jute and wrap it around your hand about two or three times and cut.  Then cut off another piece of jute approximately five to six inches an tie a not in the middle of the jute that was wrapped around your hand.  This will make it look like a bow with two sets of tails.  Trim all your tails to approximately the same length.
  • Assembly:  Using Scor-Tape on the folded edge, attach the metallic ribbon to your card base even with the left side, about three-quarters of an inch from the top.
  • Next, Attach the brown border trimmed cardstock piece to your card base.  It should be about quarter inch from the bottom of the card base and about one inch from the left side of the card base.  Tuck a little piece of it under your metallic ribbon.
  • Using Glue Dots, attach your leaves to the front of your card.  The largest leaf is angled to “point” at the left corner of your card base.  The smaller leaf is angle pointing towards the middle of the card base.
  • Glue your jute bow in the middle of your two leaves.  Use Glue Dots to attach.
  • Using Glue dots or tacky glue, attach your felt rose to the center of the jute bow.
  • Now, tuck your sentiment banner right beside your bow/leaf/flower area.  Attach with glue runner.

On The Inside:  Mat your card verse on brown cardstock and attach in the center of the inside of card.

Give Thanks For Alcohol Ink:

  • Getting Ready:  Ink the edges of the large ivory square with brown ink.  Stamp sentiment and ink edges of shaped tag.
  • Using the brad provided, put your flower together.
  • Attach yellow and rust embossed cardstock pieces to ivory square that you just inked.  Leave an eighth inch border on the bottom and sides.
  • Using Scor-Tape or glue runner, attach a few pieces of floss to brown diecut cardstock.  Tie a bow and attach to front with a small glue dot.
  • Attach the above portion to ivory square.  It will meet the edges of the ivory on the left and right and leave approximately an eighth inch of ivory showing on top.
  • Assembly:  Glue this completed piece to your craft card base.
  • Using glue dots, attach your three inked leaves to the front of your card.
  • Attach your “Give Thanks” diecut tag onto your card front.
  • Using glue dot, attach flower with brad.

On The Inside:
  •  Ink pre-printed verse with coordinating ink of your choice and glue inside your card.
  •  Border punch rush colored tab and attach on top of verse on the inside of card.
  • Glue acorn(s) and leaf/leaves wherever you would like on inside of card.

Merry Christmas Circles:

  • Glue green glazed cardstock to red card base and red strip.
  • Place strip so that it is even with the bottom of the back portion of the card base.  This will make the front of your card the same length as the back.
  • Using the stamped/diecut circles, attach then to the bottom edge of the “short card front” and the top edge of your lower strip.  Be careful to only put glue where the circles touch the FRONT portion of your card, otherwise, your card can’t open.  After this step, you should have a 7x5 card.
  • Glue your red stamped/diecut frame to the center of the upper portion of your card front.
  • Using foam tape, attach your sentiment to the center of the frame.  It will overhang on either side.

  • Next, loop your ribbon around the outer edge of the right-hand circle and the left-hand circle.  The ribbon should be in back of all the other circle portions.  Hold your looped ribbon together with Scor-tape.
  • Take an extra piece of ribbon and attach your bow to your looped ribbon by tying a double knot in back of your looped ribbon.  Pull those tails forward through the circle and trim.  This will give the bow the look of having four tails.

  • Attach diecut card verse to upper inside of card, placing similarly to the frame on the front.
